“ Nasi lemak is tasty. Quite generous with sambal and its condiments . Air cooler was there but not turned on . I liked reading the shop history on its wall. Perhaps some decorations can make the place more lively or carry certain theme. ”
“ The ayam goreng berempah and sambal sotong was good. Paru was tender but the sambal was too sweet to my liking. Bergendil and sambal kerang was delicious too. A simple set up with friendly services and affordable prices. Will be back to try the rest of the dishes ”

Frankly speaking, it did not match the expectations that I had, comparing it to takeaways. Not sure if it’s probably bad timing or other reasons, but the chicken was not warm, and the rice was not served on a banana leaf like it was when takeaway :( But, the taste was still good. “ When I tasted the nasi lemak, I knew it was made with so much care (not cincai2). The rice was fluffy, fragrant and had that little saltiness. Sambal tasted like something you'd get from a nasi lemak bungkus, spicy and a little bitter at the end. We came around 1pm so there were limited choices for toppings but the nasi lemak on its own was so good. I read the reviews coming here saying that the staffs were not friendly. I wouldn't call it not friendly, they are just typical working people. You have to order at the counter, and pick it up yourself. Nothing will be served to you. They let us know to order at the counter from all the way at the back though. It's not restaurant quality treatment, it's more like a road side stall treatment. But I do not mind though, they weren't rude. The food was worth coming back to again. ”
